Betjemans hand crafted Drive and Garden gates with coordinated garden and wall fencing are available in the picturesque style of the 18th and 19th century parks and gardens. All our gates are hand made using the traditional methods of mortise and tenon joints with oak dowels. Please note that we can make any design of timber gate, so if you see a gate that you would like reproduced simply photograph it and send it to us (either hard copy or e-mail) and we will give you a quotation asap. All our gates and fencing are made to measure, so you don't have to compromise with standard sizes. With Betjemans you have flexibility of choice. We Guarantee all our timber gates are hand made by craftsmen using quality seasoned smooth planed redwoods and hardwoods, we also take pride in the fact that all our products are exceptional value for money. We have several styles of Picket fencing to choose from: The Pike (as shown in the pictures), The Roman, The Reo, The Khan and The Tiber (flat topped or broadsword pointed also available). Betjemans make all types of wooded gates including Farm, Town and County and Courtyard Gates. We also specialise in making timber gates to meet you our designs and requirements, including automated gates. New Development for 2003 - Steel framed gates clad with timber. This eliminates twisting, sagging and significantly increases the life of the gates.
