These
magnificent benches will be the focal point in any Garden, Park,
Country hotel, Bowling green or Golf club.
Betjemans Olde
English benches reflect the style of the eighteenth and nineteenth
century. Hand made and hand carved these benches can be supplied
in a choice of natural hardwoods such as Iroko, Teak or English oak.
When benches
are supplied in a classic white finish, the bench is made from combination
of cedar red and Meranti hardwoods. The benches are first primed
and then finished with a further 3 coats using Sadolin microporous
paint finishes, each coat is sand finished.

Queen Mary bench is available in two sizes
2.7
meters in length x 1.7 meters high at center (as shown above)

meters in Length x 1.4 meters high at center

The
Queen Mary Bench (Majestic size)
Its
difficult to portray the size and stature of the Queen Mary
bench over the web so we have included a picture of my daughter,
Casey, sitting on the bench.(NB Casey is 5’ 5” tall)
The
benches are made from selected redwood and Meranti, the center
section and top shoulders of the bench are hand carved Meranti,
and the arms and feet are crafted by hand to form these delightful
styles.
We

The

Each
bench is hand carved and consequently individual nuances
may occur.

If
the bench is for a memorial or special occasion, a hand
carved inscription or brass plaque can attached to the
rear of the center piece, as shown above.

Queen Anne bench is a more traditional style of bench
but has the same size and stature of the Queen Mary.
